Luke 1:46-56
Take a moment and read Luke 1:46-56. Now take a deep breath of reflection. Is your heart bursting with love and joy alongside Mary’s? Is her song causing you to praise with perfectly glorious thanksgiving to the God who makes miracles out of the mundane? The one who created the cosmos out of chaos? What brings the greatest joy? Is it simply knowing that God loved His creation so much that He sent His one and only Son to redeem it, to redeem you?
Maybe it is because, like Mary, you finally feel seen. The God of creation has taken notice of you. He has looked past all that the world sees and has come to you in perfect love, showing you His great mercy. Has He fed you from His table, not scraps, but a feast fit for family? Has God been faithful, fulfilling His promises again and again?
Reflect today. Give God all the glory, the honor, and the praise! “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever” (Psalm 107:1).
